Terms of Service

GetRyde connects passengers who need tricycle trips with independent tricycle drivers. GetRyde is a facilitator and does not provide the transport service itself. Drivers are independent operators, not employees of GetRyde.

Fares are agreed directly between the passenger and the driver. GetRyde does not set, collect, or process trip fares. Any payment is settled between you and the driver by cash or any means you both agree. GetRyde charges no fee for the trip.

• Provide accurate account and contact details.
• Be ready at the pickup point at the agreed time.
• Treat the driver with respect and follow Ghana road safety rules during the trip.
• Do not use the app for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Pay the agreed fare to the driver at the end of the trip.

• Hold a valid commercial rider's licence and be at least 25 years old, in line with Ghana's tricycle operating rules.
• Ensure the tricycle is roadworthy, registered, and safe to carry passengers.
• Provide a helmet to the passenger where required and ride responsibly.
• Accept only trips you can fulfil and follow the agreed route.
• Do not discriminate against passengers or refuse trips on unlawful grounds.

All drivers are screened before approval. GetRyde may approve, reject, suspend, or remove a driver at any time if they breach these Terms, act unsafely, or provide false information during onboarding.

Passengers and drivers may rate each other and report unsafe or inappropriate behaviour. GetRyde may investigate reports and take action including warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.

GetRyde acts only as a facilitator and is not responsible for the conduct of drivers or passengers, the condition of tricycles, or the outcome of any trip. To the fullest extent permitted by Ghanaian law, GetRyde is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from a trip. You use the service at your own risk.

You may delete your account data at any time from the Profile screen. This wipes your profile, rides, messages, and driver details from GetRyde.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
